NEET UG 2026 application correction window closes tomorrow: Check direct link, list of editable fields here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application correction window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 tomorrow, March 14, 2026. Candidates who have already submitted their NEET UG 2026 application form are advised to review their details and make necessary corrections through the official website before the deadline.According to the official notice, the correction facility was opened on March 12, 2026, and will remain available until March 14, 2026, up to 11:50 pm. After this deadline, the agency will not allow any further changes under any circumstances.Candidates can make corrections by visiting the official website and logging in using their application credentials. The correction window is a one-time opportunity, so applicants are advised to carefully verify their details before submitting the revised form, according to the official notice.

NEET UG 2026 exam details

The NEET UG 2026 examination will be conducted on May 3, 2026 (Sunday). The test will take place from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm IST and will be held in pen-and-paper mode (offline) at examination centres in India and abroad.

NEET UG 2026 correction window: Editable fields

The NTA has allowed candidates to edit several fields in their application form during the correction period.Candidates can change any one of the following fields:Father’s name, qualification, and occupation or mother’s name, qualification, and occupation.Candidates can edit or update the following details:

  • Educational qualification details for Class 10 and Class 12
  • State or Union Territory from where Class 12 or equivalent examination is passed or appearing
  • Category
  • Sub-category or Persons with Disabilities (PwD) status
  • Signature
  • Number of attempts in NEET UG

Candidates can also change the following based on their permanent or present address:

  • Examination city selection
  • Medium of examination

In addition, candidates who registered with an identity document other than Aadhaar can update their identity details during the correction window.If the corrections lead to a change in the application fee, candidates will be required to pay the additional amount to complete the process.
