NCC fest celebrates discipline at Khalsa College
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College hosted its annual NCC festival, Fateh’26, on February 25, drawing nearly 40 colleges and a large corps of cadets. The program showcased drill demonstrations, cultural performances, and competitive events, capped by an inspiring address from sniper Havaldar Nand Kishore

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College witnessed a celebration of discipline, valour and youthful spirit as it organised its grand annual NCC fest, Fateh’26 on February 25. Nearly 40 colleges converged on the campus, with the maximum participation of cadets who showcased their talent across a spectrum of drill displays, cultural performances and competitive events.The fest was attended by Major General Ravinder Kumar (Sena Medal), Additional Director General, NCC Delhi Directorate, as Chief Guest along with Colonel Kushal Kar, Commanding Officer, 2 Delhi Girls Battalion. The event was also attended by Vice Principal Prof. Harbans Singh, Associate NCC Officer Lt. Dr. Gurjeet Kaur, Girl Cadet Instructor Swati, Subedar Major Jaswant Singh, the Rasildar Major; Caretaker Officer Dr. Parkash Singh, and the Permanent Instructor Staff, whose collective efforts lent eminence to the event.The highlight of Fateh’26 was an inspiring talk show by the celebrated soldier Havaldar Nand Kishore of 21 Para SF, known as the ‘Invisible Warrior’. He is renowned for his exceptional prowess as a sniper and scout. His words resonated deeply with the cadets, igniting in them a renewed commitment to courage, service and patriotism. Through its seamless blend of ceremonial precision and cultural vibrance, Khalsa NCC Fest stood as a stirring tribute to the spirit of India’s youth. Emphasizing NCC values, The Additional Director General (ADG) Maj. Gen. Ravinder Kumar reminded the cadets that true success lies in character and service, reinforcing the spirit of ‘Nation First’ and the lifelong commitment of ‘Once a Cadet, Always a Cadet’.
