MP primary teacher exam 2025: Application portal reopens for court-mandated RCI qualification corrections
Candidates make corrections to their Primary Teacher Selection Examination 2025 application forms on the MP Online portal during the reopened window for RCI-related updates.

The Madhya Pradesh government has again opened the application correction window for candidates who will take up the Primary Teacher Selection Examination–2025, with specific changes allowed through the MP Online portal.This is a decision that has been issued in pursuit of official communication from DPI, Bhopal. However, the decision is related only to changes regarding Column 7.7, which pertains to qualifications under the RCI special education.

Background of the examination

Applications for the ‘Primary Teacher Selection Examination-2025’ were initially accepted from July 18, 2025, to August 25, 2025. Thereafter, the examination process proceeded as scheduled.Nevertheless, the process of application also came under legal scrutiny following the filing of Writ Petition No. 42759/2025 by Deepak Parmar at the Indore Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. Following the order dated 15th December 2025 by the High Court, the authorities had also opened the application process for limited corrections by re-opening the application portal.

Second correction window announced

As per a fresh letter issued by the Directorate of Public Instruction, Bhopal (dated January 29, 2026), the application portal will now reopen from February 4 to February 11, 2026.During this period, candidates can modify details related only to Column 7.7 (RCI – Special Education related). No other fields of the application form will be editable.

Who needs to make corrections?

Candidates who hold a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) – Special Education, recognised under Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) norms, and who are eligible to teach children with disabilities, must select “Yes” in Column 7.7.All other applicants who do not possess this qualification are required to select “No” in the same column.
