As Mounaragam bids farewell after an incredible seven years and over 1600 episodes, fans are left reminiscing about the emotional rollercoaster that began with a village girl overcoming her speech challenges. Starring Naleef Gea and Aishwarya Ramsai, the series captured hearts with its poignant storytelling and the heartfelt bond between its leads.

After seven years, the longest-running serial on Malayalam TV, Mounaragam, is heading to its climax. The Naleef Gea–Aishwarya Ramsai starrer is progressing after completing the 1600 episodes milestone. Sharing a teaser online, the makers have confirmed that the serial will soon have its much-awaited climax.Mounaragam started off with the story of Kalyani, a village girl with speech difficulty. The young girl faced severe bullying and struggles even from her family because of her inability. Kalyani’s life took a turn after the entry of Kiran. The duo falls in love, and despite many struggles, they tie the knot. The next major twist happened in the storyline when Kalyani gained her speech ability, and it is still celebrated as one of the most emotional moments in the show. Currently, the show progresses with Kalyani admitted to the hospital in a critical condition after being stabbed by Rahul. Is Kalyani’s life in danger? Will have to wait and watch.Mounaragam was inspired by the Telugu serial under the same name. Later, it was remade in Kannada and Tamil as Mounaragaa and Kaatrin Mozhi, respectively. However, it was the Malayalam version of the serial that gained much attention across languages.Mounaragam marked the Malayalam TV debut of actors Naleef Gea and Aishwarya Ramsai. Undoubtedly, the striking chemistry of the duo is still one of the key attractions of the show. Along with them, the performances of actors Darshana Das, Balaji, Sethu Lakshmi, Beena Antony, Anju Nair, and Sabu Varghese also won hearts.As the show is set to go off air after seven years, fans are eager to know how the story will have its conclusion.
