Cyrus opened up about her early days on tour, revealing that the Jonas Brothers only joined her on tour, because of her relationship with Nick, at the time. Revealing details about how her crush on Nick and desire to stay close to him, played a role in the tour arrangements. She said, “The reason that the Jonas Brothers were on tour with me was because Nick was my boyfriend, and I wanted to not leave my boyfriend. So I’d be like, ‘I’ll go on tour if my boyfriend can come.’ And they’re like, ‘you want your boyfriend to open for the show?’ Boom!”

She went on to admit that having Nick on the road with her, made the experience more enjoyable. “I was always just like, well, it’ll be more fun if Nick is there, it’ll be more fun. She said, “My mom, like, really advocated for me to always be around other kids.”
