Looking ahead, the company has set its sights on becoming the market leader in the battery electric vehicle (BEV) segment by 2031. Banerjee added that Maruti Suzuki will shape its EV strategy based on market response and evolving demand. On the pricing front, the company hinted at a potential increase due to rising commodity costs.
