'Mardaani 3' box office collection Day 2: Rani Mukerji starrer hits Rs 10 crore mark, despite 'Border 2' competition

‘Mardaani 3’ has performed well in its first two days at the box office. The third instalment of the Rani Mukerji–fronted cop action thriller franchise is in line with the franchise’s previous box office trend.

‘Mardaani 3’ box office collections Day 3

The crime action thriller, directed by Abhiraj Minawala, opened on a strong note. The film, which was released only in Hindi, earned an estimated Rs 4 crore on Friday (Day 1). According to a report by Sacnilk, the film witnessed good growth on its first Saturday, earning an estimated Rs 6 crore in net collections.With this, the film’s total net collections have reached an estimated Rs 10 crore, as per early estimates.

‘Mardaani 3’ worldwide collections

Meanwhile, the film’s gross collections stand at an estimated Rs 11.85 crore. With an additional Rs 2.5 crore from overseas markets, ‘Mardaani 3’ has registered a worldwide total of approximately Rs 14.25 crore.

‘Mardaani 3’ scores franchise record

Starring Rani Mukerji in the lead, alongside Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad, ‘Mardaani 3’ has already surpassed the opening day collections of ‘Mardaani 2’, which earned Rs 3.80 crore net, while the original ‘Mardaani’ collected Rs 3.40 crore net on Day 1. All three films saw strong growth on their first Saturdays, with the sequel earning an estimated Rs 6.55 crore net and the original earning Rs 4.70 crore net.With this performance, the third instalment of the franchise has taken an early lead over the first two films. However, it still has a long way to go before matching the lifetime net collections of ‘Mardaani’, which earned Rs 35.65 crore, and ‘Mardaani 2’, which went on to collect Rs 47.35 crore.
