While her personal life has long grabbed attention—be it her past relationship with Arjun Kapoor or frequent link-up rumours—the latest speculation links her to diamond merchant Harsh Mehta.The whispers began after the two were spotted together at the Enrique Iglesias concert in Mumbai in October last year. Their visible comfort around each other and exit from the venue together quickly caught fans’ attention.However, instead of making any loud public appearances, the duo has largely kept things low-key. Their recent visit to the serene Adinath Jain Temple has once again brought them into focus. A video from the visit, now circulating online, shows them posing with fans and sharing a light, easy moment—without appearing guarded about being seen together.
A pattern of quiet companionship?
This isn’t the first time the two have been linked beyond Mumbai. Earlier this year, around Valentine’s Day, a photo of Malaika and Harsh from Italy surfaced online. Taken at the iconic Trevi Fountain, the image showed the two in a close, candid frame—subtle, yet enough to keep speculation alive.While none of these moments confirm a relationship, they do point towards a growing ease in each other’s company, away from the glare of formal announcements or social media declarations.
‘Not looking, but open to life’
Interestingly, Malaika has addressed the constant scrutiny around her personal life, including rumours linking her with Sorab Bedi. Calling such speculation “irritating,” she shared that she and her son Arhaan Khan often laugh it off.In a conversation with Curly Tales, she made it clear that she isn’t actively seeking a relationship. “I can’t plan these things; if it has to happen, it will happen. Right now, I am so happy exploring all of this that’s going on in my life,” she said. She further underlined that while companionship is meaningful, it isn’t a necessity. For Malaika, being self-made and independent takes precedence—and any relationship, if at all, will be a choice, not a need.For now, whether it’s just companionship or something more, Malaika seems content letting life unfold—on her own terms, and away from the pressure of public validation.
