Maharashtra’s Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has revised portions of the CET 2026 examination calendar. This move came after several national-level exams clashed with important dates for the CET test, necessitating a modification in its scheduling pattern.The new schedule will cover the months of March, April, and May 2026 and will affect many entrance exams, such as those for engineering, management, law, and teaching courses.This decision was made after continuous requests by candidates regarding the overlap of one very important date for all these exams:
- UPSC NDA & NA Examination (I), 2026
- UPSC CDS Examination (I), 2026
- NATA 2026 (Phase 1)
Recognising the risk of forcing students to choose between career-defining opportunities, the CET Cell revised the MHT CET (PCM Group) examination window, ensuring that April 12 is now excluded.
Revised MHT CET 2026 Dates (PCM Group)
The engineering entrance exam has been rescheduled as follows:
- New Exam Window: April 11 to April 20, 2026
- Exclusion: April 12, 2026 (due to national exam clash)
Authorities have issued strict instructions to ensure candidates remain updated and avoid last-minute confusion:
- City intimation slip: Available from April 5, 2026 (after 2 PM)
- Admit card re-download: April 7, 2026 onwards
Candidates must re-download their admit cards to verify:
- Exact exam date
- Centre name and address
- District details
