MAH CET 2026 registration deadline extended for MHMCT, MCA till this date: Check official notice here

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has extended the registration deadline for MAH CET 2026 for Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT) courses. The decision has been taken in the interest of candidates applying for admission to the academic year 2026–27, as per the official notice issued on February 9, 2026.Candidates who missed the earlier deadline can now apply within the extended registration period through the official website mahacet.org.

Revised registration dates for MAH CET 2026

According to the official notice, the revised registration and application confirmation dates are as follows:MAH MHMCT CET 2026

  • Earlier registration period: January 7 to February 9, 2026
  • Extended registration period: February 10 to February 18, 2026
  • Tentative exam date: March 25, 2026

MAH MCA CET 2026

  • Earlier registration period: January 7 to February 10, 2026
  • Extended registration period: February 11 to February 18, 2026
  • Tentative exam date: March 30, 2026

Candidates must complete online registration as well as confirmation of the application form within the extended dates.

APAAR ID and Aadhaar mandatory

The CET Cell has clearly stated that APAAR ID and Aadhaar ID are mandatory for registration. Candidates who have not yet generated their Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID are required to create it through DigiLocker before applying, according to the official notice.

Candidates are advised to:

  1. Complete the registration process well before the extended deadline
  2. Regularly check the official website mahacet.org for updates, instructions, and detailed schedules
  3. Read the information brochure carefully before filling out the application form
  4. The CET Cell has also mentioned that this extension notice has been issued for the information of students, parents, and all concerned stakeholders.
