HYDERABAD: In line with its strategy sharpen its focus on fast growing markets of central India, KONE India has set up its central region office in Hyderabad, which is its fifth regional office in the country. The new office will cater to states such as Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and parts of Maharashtra, in addition to Telangana, and will primarily serve key cities such as Hyderabad, Warangal, Nagpur, Amravati, Bhopal, Indore, and Raipur. KONE said the structure is designed to bring leadership, engineering, service and digital capabilities closer to customers, enable faster decisions and stronger local execution across residential, commercial, infrastructure and public-sector projects. Inaugurating the central region office in Hyderabad KONE president and CEO Philippe Delorme said India’s urban growth is increasingly multi-city, and the central region will improve proximity, agility and consistency while supporting sustainable development.Delorme said KONE is expanding digital services through connected elevators that provide real-time status, cloud-based monitoring and predictive maintenance. The company monitors more than 50 parameters per minute to detect issues such as abnormal vibration and enable remote troubleshooting, he explained.KONE has about 8 lakh connected elevators globally, including around 25,000 in India, supported by major R&D and technology operations in Chennai and Pune.
