JPSC city intimation slip 2026: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the city intimation slip for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026. According to the official notification, candidates can now access details of their allotted district headquarters by logging into the One Time Registration (OTR) portal on the Commission’s website starting April 8.The final admit card, which will carry comprehensive details including the precise examination centre address, attendance sheet, and critical instructions, will be made available from April 14, 5 PM onwards. Candidates will be required to download these documents through the same OTR login credentials—email ID, mobile number, or registration number, along with the password.The JPSC Preliminary Examination would be organized in all the 24 districts of Jharkhand. Some important districts where the examination would be held are Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur (East Singhbhum), Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Deoghar, Dumka, and Palamu.The examination is being held for filling up a total of 103 coveted positions in the state civil services. These positions include posts like Deputy Collector and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).The examination process would still remain a three-tier one, comprising of Preliminary Examination, Mains, and Interview.The schedule of the Preliminary Examination is as follows:
- Paper-I: General Studies I – April 19, 2017, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Paper-II: General Studies II – April 19, 2017, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Both papers are objective in nature, carrying 200 marks each, with a duration of two hours per paper. Notably, there is no negative marking, a factor that could influence candidate strategy. However, Paper II remains qualifying in nature, making performance in Paper I critical for merit determination.The city intimation slip includes key personal and examination-related details such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, registration number, exam date, and shift timings. However, it deliberately withholds the exact examination centre location, which will only be disclosed through the admit card.
