JEE Main session 2 application window 2026 re-opened: Direct link to apply here

JEE Main session 2 application 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the application portal for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 session 2 after receiving multiple requests from candidates who missed the previous deadline. The agency has announced that the registration portal will remain reopened from March 12 (afternoon) to March 13, 2026, until 9:00 PM. Candidates will be allowed to pay the application fee until 11:50 PM on March 13, 2026. The window was originally opened between February 1 and February 25, 2026, and has concluded earlier this month. The NTA had also provided a brief correction window on February 27 and February 28 for candidates to edit certain details in the submitted forms.However, after the portal closed, the testing agency received several representations from students requesting another chance to complete their registrations or pay the required examination fee. Responding to these appeals, the NTA approved a short extension and reopened the portal for a limited period.

Candidates can follow the steps elucidated here to register for the JEE Main session 2 application 2026:

  • Move to the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, search for and click on the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 registration link.
  • You must complete the new registration using basic details to generate login credentials.
  • You can log in and fill out the online application form with personal and academic details.
  • Upload scanned documents such as a photograph and a signature in the required format.
  • Pay the application fee using a debit card, a credit card, net banking, or UPI.
  • Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
