JEE Main 2026 session 2 registration ends tomorrow: Direct link to apply, next steps after application here

The registration process for the April session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 will close tomorrow, February 25. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has asked candidates to complete the online application and fee payment on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, before the deadline. This is the final chance for students who wish to appear in Session 2, including those who did not take the January session or want to improve their earlier score. The April session exam will be conducted from April 2 to April 9, 2026, in computer-based mode across multiple cities in India and abroad.

Application window closes on February 25

Candidates must fill out the application form, upload required documents, and pay the examination fee before the deadline. The NTA has not announced any extension so far. Students are advised not to wait till the last minute to avoid server issues.Both fresh candidates and those who appeared in Session 1 can apply. For students who take both sessions, the best of the two scores will be considered for ranking. After the registration closes, NTA will open a correction window for a short period. During this time, candidates will be allowed to edit specific details in their forms.

How to apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 2

Students can register for the JEE Main session 2 examination by following the steps below:

  1. Visit the official website of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main — jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  2. Click on “Session 2 Registration” and complete new registration.
  3. Login using your application number and password.
  4. Fill in personal, academic, and exam details.
  5. Upload scanned photograph and signature in the required format.
  6. Pay the application fee online.
  7. Download and save the confirmation page.

After the application window closes, NTA will open the JEE Main form correction window for candidates. The correction window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 will open on February 27, 2026.The National Testing Agency (NTA) will allow registered candidates of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 April session to edit specific details in their application forms during this period.Candidates can log in at jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and password to make changes. Only certain fields will be editable, as specified by NTA. Students are advised to review all details carefully and make corrections within the given deadline, as no further opportunity is usually provided after the window closes.
