With no official announcement of a project, fans began speculating. Many wondered what brought the two stars together.In a video shared on Instagram, the duo appeared relaxed and cheerful as they posed for the paparazzi. At one point, Imran even playfully pointed toward Parineeti. Both actors made a strong style statement during the outing. Imran Khan kept it casual yet stylish, wearing a pink sweater with light blue jeans and brown sneakers. Parineeti opted for a chic look. She was seen in a grey wrap dress paired with black pointed heels and sunglasses.
Podcast collaboration on the cards?
While the exact reason for their meeting remains unclear, reports hint at a possible collaboration. According to Mid-Day, The actress is planning to launch her own podcast soon. Imran Khan is likely to appear as one of the guests, which could explain their recent outing together.
Recent work and upcoming projects
On the work front, Parineeti Chopra was last seen in Amar Singh Chamkila alongside Diljit Dosanjh. The film was directed by Imtiaz Ali. Imran Khan stepped away from the film industry over a decade ago. He had earlier opened up about the reasons behind that decision. Reflecting on a difficult phase, he said in an earlier interview with ETimes, “I had a mental health scare. You know, people have health scares. They’re like, suddenly, something goes wrong, I’m going to change my diet. I’m going to change my lifestyle. Oh, it’s all boiled vegetables. And I had a mental health scare. I looked, and I said none of this is right. I have to address this consciously. The way that you would start caring for your body if you suddenly had a health issue. I have to engage with it consciously.”Iran Khan also spoke about how his self-image did not match reality at the time.“My self-image was, I’m a really chill guy. But I realised that I whatever I think of myself, I’m not actually that guy. If I look at the way I was interacting with the world at that point was different, and it was not lining up with who I think I am. I was interacting with the world out of a sense of great fear and trepidation, tremendous crippling anxiety.
