The Indian women’s team led by Harmanpreet Kaur is all set to create history on International Women’s Day when it takes on Australia for the Women’s T20 World Cup final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Team India, which remained unbeaten throughout the league stage, advanced to their maiden final after the semi-final match against England was washed out. For India, 16-year-old Shafali Verma is in top form and helped the team to post competitive totals. Indian bowlers also display a disciplined bowling effort. For the Women’s T20 World Cup final, more than 75,000 tickets have already been sold.
