Roshan later reposted an AI-generated image shared by Das that placed the comedian’s character alongside famous Bollywood spies. Reacting to the image, Roshan wrote, “Haha, best of luck, Vir! ‘Happy Patel’ marks Vir Das’ first film as director and is backed by Aamir Khan. The film reunites Das with Imran Khan after their earlier collaboration in ‘Delhi Belly.’ The cast also includes Mona Singh, Mithila Palkar, Sharib Hashmi, and Shruti Tawade.The story follows Happy Smith Waisley, a talented cook living in England with his two adopted fathers, both secret agents. During the mission, Happy learns he was adopted from Panjim in 1991 and that his real name is Happy Patel.
