D.El.Ed. entrance test 2026 schedule announced as HP board opens applications for teaching aspirants

HPBOSE DELED CET Dates 2026: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, located in Dharamsala, has declared the exam schedule for the Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test-2026. This will provide an opportunity for candidates interested in pursuing a career in teaching. The entrance examination is for candidates interested in joining the D.El.Ed. courses for the 2026-28 session. Applications will be made available on the official website of the Board.The Chairman of the Board, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, has stated that the application for the D.El.Ed. Common Entrance Test is not restricted to fresh candidates. Students who are eligible for D.El.Ed. Part-I and Part-II re-appear examinations have also been included in the application form. This will help them complete their pending qualifications.Entrance Test Schedule and Important DatesThe application form for the D.El.Ed. Common Entrance Test will be available from April 4, 2026, and will close on April 26, 2026. For those candidates who miss the deadline, there will be a second chance from April 27 to April 29, 2026, with an additional fee of 500.Important dates for D.El.Ed. For the purpose of rectifying the mistakes in the application forms filled by the students, the Board has planned to open the correction window from April 30 to May 2, 2026. The entrance examination has been planned for May 31, 2026. The students can download the roll numbers four days prior to the date of the examination.Fee structure and correction guidelinesThe application fee has been fixed at Rs 900 for the General Category applicants. For SC, ST, OBC, PHH, and EWS applicants, the fee will be Rs 600. Payments will be accepted only in the digital format.The Board has clearly stated that while corrections in the application form can be made by the applicant during the correction window, corrections in the sub-category or the category itself will require the applicant to personally visit the Board office in Dharamsala. These corrections will have to be made before the final deadline.Re-appear examination application processAlong with the entrance examination, the Board has also announced the examination schedule for D.El.Ed. Part-I and Part-II re-appear examinations, which will be conducted in June 2026. Eligible candidates have to apply for the examinations through their respective institutions from April 2, 2026, to April 16, 2026.The fee for the examinations has been fixed at Rs 1,350 per student. In this regard, it has been notified by the Board that the applications must be submitted within the stipulated period. No application will be accepted after the deadline.
