Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to expand its electric two-wheeler portfolio, this time with an electric motorcycle under its EV subsidiary, Vida. Going by the patented design, the Vida VXZ adopts a sporty streetfighter-inspired stance with a strong mass-forward look. The motorcycle features a hunched-forward posture. The front section features sharp tank extensions, with the tank-like structure likely housing storage space or charging components. Further, it gets a minimalist and upswept tail section with a split-seat layout. The VXZ appears to be using a tubular trellis frame that remains partially exposed. Suspension duties are handled by USD front forks and a centrally mounted rear monoshock. Braking hardware includes a large front disc and a disc on the rear wheel as well.

At the heart of the Vida VXZ is a centrally mounted battery pack housed within the frame. Hero MotoCorp has not revealed any technical specifications, though we can expect them to be out closer to the launch. The inclusion of a saree guard also points to the motorcycle being developed with the Indian market in mind.Additional details visible in the patent include a sharp LED headlamp, a fully digital instrument cluster and a small semi-fairing. With the design now patented, expectations are high that Hero MotoCorp could reveal more details about the Vida VXZ in the coming months.Stay tuned to TOI Auto for latest updates on the automotive sector and do follow us on our social media handles on Facebook, Instagram and X.
