Gold prices in India showed a mixed trend on Thursday with futures trading marginally higher while retail rates declined in several cities and rose in select markets.On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures edged up, supported by global cues and steady investor interest. The June contract rose Rs 175 or 0.12% to Rs 1,51,951 per 10 grams, while the August contract gained Rs 129 or 0.08% to Rs 1,54,466 per 10 grams.In the physical market, retail gold prices varied across cities due to local factors such as taxes, transportation costs and jewellers’ margins.Here is how gold prices stand across major cities today:

Gold prices in the national capital declined, with 24K gold quoted at Rs 15,163 per gram, down Rs 234, while 22K gold slipped by Rs 215 to Rs 13,900 per gram.
