The Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC) has announced the Goa Police Recruitment 2026, opening online applications for 722 Group C vacancies. This drive includes posts like Police Constable, Forest Guard, Driver, and other allied positions. Interested candidates can apply from 20th February to 13th March 2026 through the official GSSC website.The recruitment aims to fill major posts in Goa Police, ensuring adequate manpower across departments. Applicants must meet the minimum educational requirement of 10th or 12th pass depending on the post. Age criteria, physical standards, and other eligibility conditions are prescribed in the official notification.

Goa Police vacancy details

The total 722 vacancies are spread across multiple posts:

  • Police Constable (Male & Female) – 360
  • Armed Police Constable – 119
  • Constable Driver (Grade-III) – 111
  • Forest Guard & Round Forester – 32
  • Other posts like Warden, Matron, Assistant Superintendent, Platoon Commander, and Lascar – 100

Reservations for categories like UR, ST, SC, OBC, and EWS apply as per government norms. Candidates must carefully check the post-wise requirements before applying.

  • Physical Standards: Minimum height 165 cm for males and 157 cm for females; chest measurement 78.74–83.80 cm for males.
