Delhi Jal Board JE recruitment 2026: Delhi Jal Board has initiated the recruitment process for Junior Engineer posts on contract basis via NITCON Limited where the last date of application falls today. This recruitment campaign includes posts of Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical discipline, where candidates will earn a monthly pay of Rs 55,932 and get appointed at Delhi.The recruitment notification was released on April 1, 2026, and from that date onwards, candidates fulfilling all eligibility requirements can apply online through the official website of NITCON. The recruitment process is time-sensitive, where the CBT test will take place after few days of application closure.Details about Recruitment Process & DatesA total of 100 Junior Engineer vacancies will be filled under this recruitment process, out of which 80 vacancies will be for Civil Engineers whereas 20 vacancies are for Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. All appointments will be made on contract basis only.Applications for the post of Junior Engineer are available from April 1, 2026, and closing date is set for April 8, 2026. The CBT examination will be held on April 12, 2026, and admit card will be issued two days prior to examination.The application fees have been fixed as Rs 885 for the General, OBC, and EWS categories, whereas for the SC, ST, and PwD categories, the amount is Rs 531, and payments must be done through the online payment system.Eligibility criteria and qualificationsThe applicants need to be within the age range of 18 to 30 years on April 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be considered based on government rules, with the maximum age of 35 years after relaxation.In case of Civil vacancies, the applicant should be a holder of a diploma with 60 per cent marks along with three years of experience or a degree holder having 60 per cent marks and one year of experience. Mechanical and Electrical Engineers will work on the pumping systems and tube wells.
