Dipika shared, “This time I could only prepare the starters and nothing else. Shoaib didn’t let me prepare the meal, and it’s the first time the food has come from outside, and it’s due to the illness. I never thought there would be a day like this in my life. I am grateful for everything and glad to be living in the moment. However, I’m managing between some things. I record vlogs and leave them incomplete because I’m not keeping well.”In a recent vlog, Dipika also shared how she gets tired and mentally isn’t in the right zone amid her illness. She shared, “I know it’s important to rest. The days when I get tired, the fatigue is so much that I cannot even move. The days when I am not in the right zone mentally, I just cannot do anything. On the days I am fine, I like to do things that make me happy. Unless you are happy mentally, you won’t be able to fight.”
In another vlog, Shoaib shared, “Dipika has been put on a new diet; she has a routine. She now wakes up at 7 am, goes for a walk, and is not allowed to eat anything after 7 pm.” Dipika then expressed her wish to share recipes on her YouTube channel.In the same vlog, Dipika said, “I am yet to heal. After the last time, a fear has been instilled in me, and I get scared now. Everyone keeps saying to keep faith. I keep praying all the time that all stays well going forward, but we all know that what is destined to happen will happen.”For the uninformed, Dipika was diagnosed with Stage 2 liver cancer last year (2025). She went through a major surgery where doctors removed a tennis ball-sized tumour along with about 22% of her liver.
