Technical difficulties and delayed content delivery for ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’
The abrupt alteration is said to stem from the unavailability of content for various language versions, coupled with last-minute technical glitches. As per the Filmibeat report, a delay in delivering the Tamil and Telugu versions of ‘Dhurandhar The Revenge’ impacted the scheduled premieres.
Broadway Cinemas confirms cancellation
At the same time, Broadway Cinemas officially declared on X (formerly Twitter) that the paid Tamil previews of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ were called off due to content unavailability. The theatre clarified that Hindi previews will be screened instead and that refunds for booked tickets will be initiated shortly, while also apologising for the inconvenience caused. Similar cancellations have been reported across theatres in Tamil Nadu and Telugu states.
Advance booking at risk due to premiere cancellations
Although the film reportedly made a whopping Rs 43 crore in advance booking, the cancellation of premiere shows is a big blow.
