According to the India TV report, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ will not be coming to Netflix, unlike the first film in the series. After its theatrical run, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ will stream on JioHotstar, a shift from the first film. The streaming platform has acquired the digital rights for a reported Rs 150 crore, nearly double the Rs 85 crore paid for the original film’s streaming rights. The satellite television rights, meanwhile, have been acquired by Star Gold.
When is the expected OTT release date?
No official premiere date has been announced by the makers yet. The report revealed that the film is expected to premiere on the OTT platform after IPL 2026 concludes, likely in the last week of May or the first week of June 2026.The digital release is being strategically delayed past mid-May to early June, avoiding conflict with the Indian Premier League 2026.
