As Aditya Dhar’s espionage epic ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ crossed the Rs. 1,000 crore worldwide milestone, the film’s soulful track ‘Phir Se’ is currently dominating social media. Sung by Arijit Singh and composed by Shashwat Sachdev, the song has moved fans to tears, including the leading man himself. Ranveer Singh recently took to Instagram to share his raw, emotional reaction to the video, which poignantly contrasts his character’s life as Jaskirat in India and his undercover persona, Hamza, in Pakistan.

Ranveer Singh himself was deeply moved after watching the song. The actor took to Instagram to share his raw reaction saying, “I cried. Full stop. Did you? #PhirSe video out now A Shashwat Sachdev Musical #DhurandharTheRevenge is now in cinemas worldwide.”

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. The film began with paid previews on March 18 and officially released on March 19. The film is now inching closer to the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide.

Amid the film’s success, actress Ameesha Patel shared her thoughts on social media. Ameesha, “Eye opener. Industry Praising DHURANDHAR is wow and the brand deserves all the accolades (applause emoticons) industry needs to realise that ADITYA made a film and not a project,,casted actors and not instagrammars who trend at parties. Stop making projects and start making films.”The Aditya Dhar directorial has also received praise from several stars. Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, Allu Arjun, Rajinikanth, and Mahesh Babu have all appreciated the film in recent days.
