As fans around the globe flock to theatres to catch the film in its debut week, some took to social media to point out an ‘error’ in the film. Some eagle-eyed netizens pointed out that in a fight scene involving Ranveer’s character, a cameraman mistakenly appears for a brief second in the reflection of a mirror while the action scene plays out in a bathroom. However, fans of the blockbuster franchise were quick to defend the film and its makers, stating that such errors are not uncommon. Defending the film, fans drew comparisons with filmmaker Christopher Nolan‘s ‘The Dark Knight‘, when a similar error occurred. The film famously featured a reflection of a cameraman with his camera, filming an intense scene between Christian Bale’s Batman and Heath Ledger’s Joker.
“People criticising Aditya Dhar for a small mistake… even in Batman The Dark Knight directed by Nolan, camera crew appears in the reflection, so what?” one user wrote, while another added, “For those mocking Aditya Dhar, even Chris Nolan left the same mistake in The Dark Knight.”Still another quipped, “I know people won’t believe me, But Aditya Dhar saw the blooper of the Dark Knight and decided to do the same mistake for Dhurandhar 2 just to get this comparison with Nolan.”

Following the success of the film, director Dhar shared an emotional note of thanks to his fans, cast and team. In a viral video from the film’s screening, the director said, “Thank you to those who believed in me, starting from Jyoti Deshpande, and of course, my HODs, my cast members, actors, and everyone who has given their heart and soul to the film.”He added, “I am overwhelmed with all the responses coming in and even the memes. But I genuinely want to thank everyone for being here, supporting us, and being part of this journey. This wouldn’t have been possible without you.
