Actor Adivi Sesh will be seen in the upcoming action thriller ‘Dacoit’ starring alongside Mrunal Thakur. The movie is expected to hit the big screens soon. Now, Adivi Sesh has officially confirmed that Bhojpuri music star Pawan Singh is part of his upcoming movie, calling the collaboration “very unique.”According to a report by IANS, calling the collaboration special, Adivi Sesh said, “Collaborating with Pawan Singh on ‘Dacoit’ has definitely got people excited, and rightly so. It’s a very unique association.” He also added, “What exactly we’re doing together is something audiences will have to wait and watch for.”

Who is Pawan Singh?
Pawan Singh is known for his music and often plays the harmonium during live shows. Over time, he became one of the biggest names in Bhojpuri cinema. He has delivered popular films like ‘Pratigya’, ‘Satya’, ‘Crack Fighter’, ‘Raja’, ‘Sher Singh’, ‘Powerstar’, and many more. Recently, he also stepped into Hindi films with the song ‘Aayi Nai’ from ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Chumma’ from ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’. He was last seen on the reality show ‘Rise and Fall’, hosted by Ashneer Grover. His next film is titled ‘Powerstar’.
About ‘Dacoit’
Speaking about the film, directed by Shaneil Deo, ‘Dacoit’ is set to revolve around Adivi Sesh playing an angry convict who wants to take revenge on his ex-girlfriend, played by Mrunal Thakur, after she betrays him. The film has a theme of love, betrayal and vengeance. Interestingly, the film also features filmmaker Anurag Kashyap playing a cop. It will also feature Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla.After the film was delayed, it is now set to release on April 10, 2026.
