The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 today, February 4, at 11:50 pm. Candidates who have not yet submitted their application forms must complete the process on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. The last date to pay the application fee is February 7, 2026. NTA has announced that the CUET UG 2026 exam will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from May 11 to May 31, 2026. The entrance test is mandatory for admission to undergraduate programmes offered by central universities such as Delhi University (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and other participating institutions.

CUET UG registration deadline and fee payment details

As per the schedule, candidates can submit their CUET UG 2026 application forms till 11:50 pm today. Applicants must ensure that all required details are filled correctly before final submission.The application fee must be paid by February 7, 2026. Without fee payment, the form will not be accepted. NTA will open the correction window from February 9 to February 11, 2026. During this period, candidates can edit specific details in their submitted forms.Students are encouraged to download the confirmation page after successfully submitting the application form and paying the fee.

To finish the registration process, candidates are required to log on to the official website, which is cuet.nta.nic.in. CUET UG 2026 exam schedule and mode

The CUET UG 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test mode between May 11 and May 31, 2026. The exam will be held in multiple shifts across different cities in India and abroad.CUET UG is the gateway for admission to undergraduate courses in central universities and several other participating institutions. Programmes include engineering, management, humanities, science and commerce streams. Candidates must select subjects according to the eligibility criteria of their chosen university and course.
