The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the final answer key and result for the February 2026 session of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) soon. Candidates who appeared for the national-level teacher eligibility examination are currently awaiting the next official update regarding the final answer key and scorecards.The board had earlier published the provisional answer key along with candidates’ response sheets, allowing examinees to review their answers and raise objections within the specified window. After evaluating the challenges submitted by candidates, CBSE will release the final answer key, which will form the basis for the result declaration.

CTET provisional answer key released earlier

CBSE released the CTET February 2026 provisional answer key on March 12, 2026, on the official website. Candidates were able to access both the answer key and their recorded responses through their login credentials.The board also opened a challenge window from March 12 to March 15, 2026, during which candidates could raise objections to any question or answer they believed was incorrect. To submit a challenge, candidates were required to pay the prescribed fee per question and upload supporting documents.All objections are now being reviewed by subject experts before the final answer key is issued.

Final answer key expected soon

The final answer key for CTET is generally released a few days after the objection window closes. With the objection period concluding on March 15, it is expected that the final answer key will be released in the coming days in mid-to-late March 2026.The revised answer key will be final and binding upon release and will not be subject to any further objections.

CTET February 2026 result date

Following the release of the final answer key, CBSE will declare the CTET February 2026 result on the official portal.Based on previous examination cycles, the result is likely to be announced by the last week of March 2026. Candidates will be able to download their scorecards and eligibility certificates online once the results are published.

Where to check CTET February 2026 result

The candidates can check their CTET February 2026 final answer key along with their results on the official website, ctet.nic.in. To access their results, the candidates can log in to their account using their application number and password, or their date of birth. They can then access their scorecard.

About CTET

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is an examination conducted by CBSE for assessing the eligibility of candidates for the posts of teachers in Classes 1 to 8 in central government schools across the country. Schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas fall in this category.The test is held twice a year in two papers:

  • Paper 1 for those candidates who want to teach in Classes 1 to 5
  • Paper 2 for those candidates who want to teach in Classes 6 to 8

After the declaration of the test results, the candidates who have cleared the test as per the eligibility criteria are given the eligibility certificate for lifetime validity as per current norms.
