Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings begin IPL 2026 with revamped squads after finishing at the bottom last season. CSK, however, face bowling concerns after Nathan Ellis’ withdrawal. Matt Henry and Noor Ahmad will be key, but questions remain over death bowling options. The No.3 spot is also undecided, with Ayush Mhatre, Urvil Patel, and Sarfaraz Khan in contention.
With rain forecast in Guwahati and a fresh pitch in play, both teams will look to adapt quickly. Samson’s role at the top and Jadeja’s impact in the middle overs could define the contest.
