Central Bank of India 2026 registration extended for 350 Specialist Officer posts: Direct link to apply here

The Central Bank of India (CBI) has extended the registration deadline for its 2026 Specialist Officer recruitment to 15 February 2026. The bank is recruiting 350 Specialist Officers, including Marketing Officer (Scale I) and Foreign Exchange Officer (Scale III) positions. Candidates can apply online through the official portal. The recruitment process will include an online examination followed by a personal interview. This is a major opportunity for graduates and professionals to join a public sector bank with competitive salaries, allowances, and career growth opportunities. SBI Specialist Officer vacancies and eligibility requirements

The recruitment includes 300 posts for Marketing Officer (Scale I) and 50 posts for Foreign Exchange Officer (Scale III). Marketing Officer candidates should have an MBA or PGDM in Marketing. Foreign Exchange Officer candidates must hold a graduate degree and have relevant experience in forex or trade finance.Age limits and category, wise relaxations are applicable as per government norms. Candidates must check that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria before applying to prevent their application from being rejected.

Candidates can submit their applications only online through the official CBI recruitment portal. The application fee is ₹850 for General, OBC, and EWS categories and ₹175 for SC, ST, PwBD, and Women candidates. Selection process and salary details

The choice will depend on the candidate’s performance in the online test and personal interview. Marketing Officers shall be paid a salary of between 48, 480 and 85, 920 along with the applicable allowances. Foreign Exchange Officers will be able to draw a salary of between Rs. 85,920 and Rs. 1,05,280 plus allowances. Other benefits are DA, HRA, pension, and other facilities as per bank rules.
