Bank of Baroda Peon result 2026: Bank of Baroda has declared the result of the online preliminary examination conducted for recruitment to the post of Office Assistant (Peon) in the Sub Staff Cadre on a regular basis. The candidates who have cleared the preliminary round will now appear for the online Main examination scheduled later this month.Recruitment Notification and Examination ProcessThe bank has invited applications for the posts of Office Assistant (Peon), as part of the Sub Staff Cadre, on regular lines as per the advertisement released earlier on May 2, 2025, in leading newspapers and on the official bank website.As per a subsequent notification issued on December 15, 2025, the bank has confirmed that the selection process will have two stages: an online preliminary examination and an online Main examination. The preliminary examination has already been completed, and the bank has now declared the list of candidates who have qualified to proceed to the next stage.According to the bank, the shortlisted candidates are only provisionally eligible to appear in the Main examination.Main examination schedule and candidate communicationThe online Main examination for the recruitment process is scheduled to be conducted on March 22, 2026. Communication regarding the examination will be sent directly to the registered e-mail IDs of the shortlisted candidates.The bank clarified that no communication regarding the examination or recruitment process will be sent by post. Candidates who have qualified have been advised to carefully review the guidelines mentioned in the original recruitment advertisement and ensure compliance with the prescribed instructions.The notification serves as official intimation to all candidates who appeared in the preliminary examination. No separate communication will be issued to candidates who did not qualify for the next stage.Court cases linked to recruitment processThe bank stated that any appointment arising from the recruitment process will reMain subject to the final judgement, orders or directions issued by the Lucknow Bench of the High Court of Allahabad in Writ A No. 5592/2025 involving Dena Bank Staff Association U.P. and Bank of Baroda.In addition, an interim order issued on February 12, 2026 by the High Court of Kerela in WP(C) No. 14589 of 2020 has directed that one vacancy out of the 19 posts earmarked for Kerela should not be filled without further orders from the court.Bank of Baroda also stated that it reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors in the published list of qualified candidates.
