Vidya Bharati Students Excel in Assam HSLC 2026 Results

GUWAHATI: Jyotirmay Das, a student of Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Patacharkuchi, secured the 1st rank in the Assam HSLC Examination 2026, bringing pride to Vidya Bharati family. Vidya Bharati-affiliated schools in Assam function through Shishu Shiksha Samiti, Assam, while in Barak Valley and Dima Hasao they are run by Shiksha Vikas Parishad, South Assam. “At present, we have 576 schools in Assam that are imparting value-based education in the mother tongue. In this year’s HSLC examination, 10,375 students from 403 schools appeared. Among them, 5,623 students secured First Division, 3,546 Second Division, and 516 Third Division. Additionally, 1,333 students secured letter marks, while 383 students achieved distinction,” Shishu Shiksha Samiti, Assam stated in a media release. A total of 164 schools recorded 100 percent results, and 17 schools saw all students pass in First Division. Over the past two decades, eight students from Vidya Bharati have secured the state’s top position. “Vidya Bharati emphasizes holistic development from primary to university level through the Panchapadi teaching method and effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP),” said Sailendra Pandey, Saha Prasar Pramukh, Vidya Bharati, Uttar Asom Pranta. “Vidya Bharati institutions have consistently excelled in academics while preserving and promoting the rich culture and language of Assam,” he added. Senior functionaries including Dr. Pawan Tiwari, Sangathan Mantri, Vidya Bharati’s Purbottar Khetra, Kulendra Kumar Bhagawati, president of Sishu Siksha Samiti Assam, and General Secatary Jagannath Rajbanshi, extended their congratulations and best wishes to all students for a bright future. The remarkable performance has further strengthened Vidya Bharati’s reputation as a leading educational network in the region. Educationists noted that the consistent results reflect disciplined academic practices, dedicated teachers, and strong community support, inspiring students across Assam to strive for excellence in future board examinations.
