Aryna Sabalenka kept her strong run going at the Miami Open with a straight-sets win and then gave fans a fun moment right after. The world No. 1 beat Zheng Qinwen 6-3, 6-4 to move into the quarter-finals in Florida. She looked in control for most of the match and did not let the pressure build. Moments after the win, she was stopped by the WTA media team for a quick video. That is when things took a funny turn. Sabalenka was handed a luxury hot dog, known as the “Golden Glizzy,” and her reaction quickly grabbed attention online. She was clearly hungry after the match and did not hold back. Smiling and surprised, she thanked the team and took a big bite. Then she said, “It’s so f***ing good, guys. Oh my God. And I’m so hungry, that’s my recovery. Thank you!” The short clip spread fast on social media and added a light moment to her serious title push in Miami.

Aryna Sabalenka beats Zheng Qinwen and eyes Sunshine Double as she faces Hailey Baptiste next

On court, Aryna Sabalenka showed why she is still the player to beat. Zheng Qinwen tried to fight back, but Sabalenka stayed steady and kept her shots deep and powerful. After the match, she said, “She’s a tough opponent and I’m super happy with the level I played at today. I can definitely say that it felt like home. Thanks to you guys, you really make this stadium feel like home for me.”This win keeps Sabalenka on track for the “Sunshine Double,” a rare feat where a player wins both Indian Wells and the Miami Open in the same season. She already lifted the Indian Wells title last week, showing strong form at the right time. Her next match will be against American player Hailey Baptiste. Baptiste has also had a good run, beating strong names like Elina Svitolina and Jelena Ostapenko. This sets up an interesting clash, with Sabalenka as the favorite but Baptiste playing with confidence. The Miami draw is still packed with big names. Players like Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, and Karolina Muchova are all still in the tournament. That means Sabalenka’s path will not be easy if she wants the title.Off the court, Sabalenka has also had a big month. She recently got engaged to Georgios Frangulis. Since then, her form has only improved, and she looks focused and relaxed at the same time. For now, her mix of strong tennis and fun personality is winning fans everywhere.
