Amazon recently announced that it is expanding its quick delivery offerings with new 1-hour and 3-hour options across several US cities. This new fast-delivery service comes as the company steps up its competition with its biggest rival, Walmart. Announcing the move, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy took to microblogging site X (formerly Twitter) to say the service is aimed at addressing everyday customer needs, adding that teams across the company have been working to enable quicker access to products.
