Recently, while talking to Page Six at the Cinema Society, she talked about getting to know about her cancer diagnosis. She revealed that when she got the news that she had stage 1 breats cancer, the actress revealed that she had been devastated. Her parents were also in hospice care at the time. She commented, “I’m doing great.” Her father passed away a little while before she got her official diagnosis, while her mother passed away earlier this year, in January. Amanda first revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in a New Yorker feature earlier this month. At the time, she had revealed that, as for the treatment, she had undergone a lumpectomy, as well as radiation therapy.
