The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has finally declared the Phase-XIII/2025 Selection Posts Examination (10+2 Level) result, bringing relief—and a fair bit of nervous anticipation—to lakhs of candidates across the country. The Computer Based Examination (CBE), held between 24 July and 2 August 2025, with an additional session on 29 August 2025, saw massive participation for Higher Secondary level posts.Out of over 7.08 lakh applications, SSC has shortlisted 14,768 candidates for the next stage of scrutiny. The results come after a detailed review of representations on the tentative answer keys, followed by normalization of marks, as laid down in the examination notice. In short: the numbers are final, the cut-offs have been applied, and the recruitment process is officially moving forward. How SSC Processed the ResultsSSC confirmed that all representations received against the tentative answer keys were carefully examined. Wherever required, corrections were made before finalising the answer keys. These final keys were then used to evaluate candidates’ performance. As per Para 15.3 of the notice, marks were normalized to account for variations across exam shifts. To qualify for shortlisting, candidates had to secure the minimum qualifying marks:• UR: 30% (60 marks)• OBC / EWS: 25% (50 marks)• All other reserved categories: 20% (40 marks)Based on merit and post-wise vacancy ratios—ranging from 1:30 for up to five vacancies to 1:15 for larger vacancy pools—SSC has drawn up the shortlist for scrutiny.Category-wise Break-up of Shortlisted Candidates (10+2 Level)
