TVS files design patent for RTR HyprStunt: All you need to know

TVS Motor Company has filed a design patent in India for its RTR HyprStunt motorcycle. The stunt-focused concept was first shown at EICMA 2025 in November. It was part of TVS’ lineup of experimental and performance-oriented machines. With the patent filing, TVS has now protected the bike’s design and basic layout. The patent images show a very raw and minimal motorcycle. It has a long single seat, wide handlebars and a short tail section. One detail that stands out is the absence of a headlamp. This clearly hints that the RTR HyprStunt is not meant for everyday road use in its current form. At the rear, the motorcycle appears to get a wheelie bar. The handlebar setup is also interesting. On the left side, there are two levers. One is for the clutch, while the other is likely a hand-operated rear brake. This is a common feature on stunt bikes as it helps riders stay in control during tricks.

The cycle parts look serious too. The drawings show upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. Disc brakes are fitted on both wheels. The exhaust is small and sits neatly under the engine. TVS has not shared any official engine details yet. However, the RTR HyprStunt is expected to use the same 299cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine seen on the RTX 300. This motor makes 35.5 bhp and 28.5 Nm and comes paired with a six-speed gearbox. As always, a design patent does not confirm a launch. But it does show that TVS wants to secure the concept. Whether it reaches production or not remains to be seen.
