As we all know that yesterday i.e., February 1, 2026, we all witnessed the snow moon everywhere but here the question comes that if is it visible on February 2 or not? so we will clear this confusion that February’s full moon reached its maximum point on Sunday so the snow moon has technically passed this phase but the people who have missed seeing it on Feb 1, they still have the opportunity to witness it from the naked eyes. It is believed that human eye can still see the full moon for at least two to three nights. So, people who are feeling sad can still see it in the night sky tonight, on February 2, 2026 and capture the beauty of the full moon.

Snow Moon usually occurs during the month of February, when there’s severe snow fall so native American called this Full Moon as snow moon. This name has also come from the old European traditions because the month of February was the full of heavy snow fall and it was very difficult for the people to do hunting, had travelling issues so this full moon became known as snow moon. This is also known as Hunger moon also.
