JEE main session 2 registration dates out: Check schedule, steps to apply here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the registration for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 from February 1, 2026. Candidates who wish to appear for the April session can apply online once the portal opens. The last date to submit the application form is February 25, 2026. Students need to complete registration, upload documents, and pay the exam fee before the deadline. The exams will be held in April 2026 across multiple shifts and cities. This session gives students another chance to improve their scores or appear if they missed Session 1. Interested candidates should check eligibility criteria and keep their documents ready to avoid last-minute issues.

JEE Main session 2 registration dates and process

The registration for Session 2 started on February 1, 2026. Students must apply online through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. After creating a login, they need to fill in personal and academic details. Required documents, including a recent photograph and signature, must be uploaded as per the specifications. The application fee can be paid online via card, net banking, or UPI. After successful submission, candidates should download the confirmation page and keep it safe for future reference. Even students who appeared for Session 1 must register separately for Session 2.

Exam schedule and admit card

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exams will be conducted between April 2 and April 9, 2026, in multiple shifts. The city allotment slips and admit cards will be released a few weeks before the exam. Candidates must download the admit card and check the exam details carefully, including date, time, and center. No student will be allowed to enter the exam hall without a valid admit card.

  • Submit and download confirmation page.
