The technology is capable of watching a match, listening to commentary and explaining what is happening in simple, accessible language.Google said the initiative aims to make cricket more engaging and inclusive, especially for newer audiences. The collaboration will span multiple Google platforms, including Android, Google Gemini, Google Pay and Google Pixel, creating an integrated digital ecosystem around the sport. From discovering highlights to understanding key moments and celebrating victories, the focus is on enriching the entire fan journey.In a separate post, the Google Gemini account explained the technology’s potential: “We partnered with @ICC to show how Gemini 3 Pro can analyse video content.
