As speculation snowballed, no clarification emerged from Kohli, his management team or Meta, leaving fans to fill the silence with theories, humour and concern.
The sudden return of the account later in the day has eased nerves, but the lack of an official statement has kept the mystery alive. It remains unclear whether the disappearance was the result of a technical glitch, a temporary deactivation or a platform-related issue.
Virat Kohli’s handle is back
During the brief outage, fans even turned to Kohli’s wife, actor Anushka Sharma, flooding her comment sections with anxious and playful messages asking about the cricketer’s missing account.
