‘Nemesis’: From Matthew Law to Tre Hale, meet the cast of Courtney A. Kemp’s new crime drama

This high-stakes drama series has already taken over netizens with its recent release. From the minds of Courtney A. Kemp (who also worked on creating ‘Power’) and Tani Marole, the brand new show has become the talk of the town lately. The show features some of Hollywood’s rising stars. ‘Nemesis’ has a star-studded cast led by Matthew Law and Y’lan Noel, who stand at two ends of the show. While Law plays Detective Isaiah Stiles, Noel plays the notorious thief Coltrane Wilder. Other cast members include Gabrielle Dennis as Dr. Candace Stiles, Cleopatra Coleman as Ebony Wilder, Cedric Joe as Noah Stiles, Moe Irvin as Amos ‘Nightmare’ Stiles, and Ariana Guerra as Yvette Cruz.Other star players in the show include Stephanie Sigman as Nicolette Harper, Mike O’Malley as Rick Viggiano, Domenick Lombardozzi as Dave Cerullo, Michael Potts as James Sealey, Jeff Pierre as Malik Jacobs, Jay Reeves as Jamel Brinkley, and Siua Ikale’o as Ika Manakani.Along with them, the outlaws in the cast include Sophina Brown as Charlie, Tre Hale as Darren ‘Stro’ Stroman, Jonnie ‘Dumbfoundead’ Park as Chris Choi, Quincy Isaiah as Gideon ‘Deon’ Davis, and Khalilah Joi as Ella Wilder.

Plot of ‘Nemesis’

Tani Morale, who worked on creating the show, opened up about the two leads and their importance to the storyline. Weighing in on the matter while talking to Netflix, she stated, “What they have in common is they’re both hyper-obsessive. They’ll both do anything for their families. But one’s so obsessed with the other that they essentially want to become each other’s downfall.”The official description for the show reads: “A relentless LAPD cop becomes obsessed with taking down the master thief behind a string of daring heists — and only one can come out on top.” There are a total of 8 episodes in the first season, all readily available on Netflix for streaming.
