Kerala Board SSLC result 2026: Kuttanad records 100% pass rate, Tirur lowest among education districts

The Kerala Board of Public Examinations (KBPE) on Friday, May 15, declared the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination 2026 results, with Kuttanad emerging as the only education district to record a 100 per cent pass percentage, while Tirur reported the lowest performance among education districts at 96.61 per cent.The overall pass percentage in the Kerala SSLC examination stood at 99.07 per cent this year. Of the 4,14,290 students who appeared for the examination, 4,10,456 became eligible for higher studies.Students can check their results on the official websites, including keralaresults.nic.in, results.kite.kerala.gov.in and results.kerala.gov.in.

Pathanamthitta tops among revenue districts

Among revenue districts, Pathanamthitta recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.73 per cent, followed by Kottayam at 99.72 per cent and Kannur at 99.67 per cent. Thiruvananthapuram recorded the lowest pass percentage among revenue districts at 98 per cent.

Kuttanad records perfect result

In the education district category, Kuttanad secured a perfect result with all 1,787 students who appeared qualifying for higher studies. Tirur, which had 16,571 candidates appearing for the exam, recorded a pass percentage of 96.61 per cent.Malappuram education district had the highest number of candidates appearing for the examination at 28,601, while Kuttanad had the lowest at 1,787.

Malappuram leads in full A+ scorers

The data released by the Kerala education department also showed that 30,514 students secured A+ grades in all subjects. Malappuram revenue district reported the highest number of students with full A+ grades at 5,098, followed by Kozhikode with 4,114 and Kollam with 3,357.Kollam recorded the highest share of full A+ scorers among revenue districts at 11.6 per cent, while Kottarakkara topped among education districts with 17.4 per cent. Tirur recorded the lowest A+ share among education districts at 4.1 per cent.

Exam conducted across 3,056 centres

A total of 4,14,531 students had registered for the SSLC examination this year, of whom 241 registrations were cancelled and 227 students remained absent. The examinations were conducted between March 5 and March 30 across 3,056 centres in Kerala, Lakshadweep and the Gulf region.
