NEET UG 2026 re-examination: The full schedule and key details for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination was announced on Friday, which will now be held on June 21 after the original test was cancelled over the paper leak controversy.Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan in a press conference further confirmed the revised exam date along with important updates regarding admit cards, exam timing, examination city selection and fee waiver for candidates.As per the announcement, fresh admit cards for NEET UG 2026 will be released by June 14. Students will also get another chance to select their preferred examination city through a fresh correction window, as many aspirants may have shifted locations after the cancellation of the earlier exam, the edication minister said.

The NTA has also revised the exam duration. The re-exam will now be conducted from 2 pm to 5:15 pm, giving students an extra 15 minutes for attendance marking and other formalities.In a major relief for candidates, the government said students will not have to pay any additional fee for the re-test. The examination fees already paid for the cancelled NEET UG 2026 exam will also be refunded.The original NEET UG 2026 examination was conducted on May 3 but was later scrapped after allegations of paper leak and circulation of leaked PDFs triggered nationwide outrage among students and parents.
