‘Dhurandhar 2’ OTT release delay: Why India is still waiting for Ranveer Singh’s film; OTT platform shares UPDATE

‘Dhurandhar 2’ continues to dominate entertainment discussions, and its delayed OTT release in India has become a major topic among fans. While audiences in several international territories can already watch the Ranveer Singh starrer, viewers in India are still waiting for an official premiere date. Many fans are wondering why the film has not yet arrived on Indian streaming platforms.

OTT platform shares new teaser for ‘Dhurandhar 2’

Amid the growing speculation, JioHotstar posted a new teaser on its official X account. Sharing a clip from the film, the platform wrote, “Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for this?” The teaser also featured the message, “Exploding soon.” Although the post strongly hints at an imminent launch, OTT platform has not announced a confirmed release date for Indian audiences.

International streaming of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge

Outside India, the film is scheduled to begin streaming on Netflix between May 14 and May 15, 2026, depending on regional time zones. In some international markets, the film is reportedly being promoted under alternate titles such as Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Raw & Undekha) and Raw & Unseen. According to reports cited by News18, the overseas digital version will feature a longer and uncensored cut running close to four hours. The extended version is expected to include additional action scenes, restored sequences, and content that was trimmed during theatrical certification.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ box office run continues strong

Despite completing nearly two months in theatres, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ continues to attract audiences. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 35 lakhs on day 57. This represented a 5.4 percent drop from the previous day’s net collection of Rs. 37 lakhs. The film was screened across 735 shows nationwide. Aditya Dhar‘s action thriller total India net collection now stands at Rs. 1,144.56 crore.
