Haryana board class 10 result 2026 declared: Regular pass percentage at 89.60%, girls outshine boysBoard of School Education Haryana has declared the results of the Secondary (Academic/Open School) Annual Examination 2026. The results were announced by Board Chairman Dr Pawan Kumar during a press conference held in Bhiwani on Thursday.Students can check their results on the board’s official website, BSEH Official Website, and on DigiLocker Results Portal from Thursday afternoon onwards.Regular students record 89.60% pass percentageAccording to the board, the overall pass percentage for regular candidates stood at 89.60%, while self-study (private) candidates recorded a pass percentage of 70.02%.A total of 2,76,640 regular students appeared for the examination, out of which 2,47,860 students passed. Meanwhile, 6,201 students were placed in the Essential Repeat (E.R.) category and will have to reappear for the examination.Girls outperform boys by 3.95 percentage pointsGirls once again outperformed boys in the Haryana Board Class 10 examinations. Out of 1,33,530 girls who appeared, 1,22,367 passed, taking the pass percentage to 91.64%.Among boys, 1,25,493 out of 1,43,110 candidates cleared the examination, resulting in a pass percentage of 87.69%.The difference in pass percentage between girls and boys stood at 3.95 percentage points in favour of girls.Private schools perform better than government schoolsThe board data revealed that private schools registered a pass percentage of 92.45%, significantly higher than government schools, which recorded 87.23%.Rural students also performed better than urban students. While the pass percentage in rural areas stood at 90.25%, urban students recorded 87.94%.Charkhi Dadri tops district-wise performanceAmong districts, Charkhi Dadri secured the top position in pass percentage, followed by Jind in second place and Mahendragarh in third place. Nuh remained at the bottom of the district rankings.Open school results also declaredThe board also declared the Secondary Open School Annual Examination 2026 results for fresh, re-appear, additional subject and improvement categories.In the Open School fresh category, 5,772 candidates appeared, out of which only 645 passed, taking the pass percentage to 11.17%.The Open School re-appear category recorded a pass percentage of 47.64%. A total of 3,957 students appeared in this category, with 1,885 students clearing the examination.Self-study candidates record 70.02% resultIn the self-study category, 4,556 candidates appeared for the exam and 3,190 students passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 70.02%.Students can access their results using their roll number or by entering details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of birth on the official portal.Deepika tops Haryana Board Class 10 examA total of 16 students secured positions in the top three merit ranks across the state.Deepika from Adarsh Senior Secondary School Miran secured the first position with 499 marks.Four students shared the second rank with 498 marks, while 11 students secured the third rank with 497 marks.D.El.Ed re-appear results announcedThe board also announced the results for D.El.Ed examinations conducted in February/March 2026.The pass percentage for D.El.Ed 2023-25 First Year (Re-appear) stood at 62.50%, while the Second Year (Re-appear) result was 81.76%. For D.El.Ed 2024-26 First Year (Re-appear), the pass percentage was recorded at 65.13%.Rechecking and re-evaluation applications openStudents seeking rechecking or re-evaluation of answer sheets can apply online within 20 days from the declaration of results by paying the prescribed fee, the board said.
