The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially declared the WB HS Result 2026 for Class 12 students in the press conference. Candidates who appeared for the Higher Secondary (HS) examinations can now check their results online through the official portals. The exams were conducted from February 12 to 27, 2026. Approximately, 66,000 more girls have appeared in the WB HS Class 12th exam.The results were first announced through an official press conference. Following the declaration, the online link to access individual scorecards was activated for students across the state. The results will be declared on the official websites at 11 AM.

Students can follow these steps to check and download their results:

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on the “WB HS Result 2026” link
  • Enter the required login credentials
  • Submit the details
  • The scorecard will appear on the screen
  • Download and save the marksheet for future reference

Students are also advised to keep a printed copy of the provisional marksheet until the original documents are issued by the board.

Details mentioned on the marksheet

The online WB HS marksheet contains important information related to the candidate and examination performance. It includes the student’s name, roll number, board name, class and stream, subject-wise marks, grades obtained, total marks, and qualifying status. Students should carefully verify all the details mentioned on the provisional scorecard.

Minimum Passing Marks for WB HS Exam

According to the criteria set by the board, students must secure at least 30% marks in every subject to pass the Higher Secondary examination. The passing marks include theory, practical, and project components combined.Candidates are also required to obtain a minimum of 30% marks separately in both theory papers and practical or project sections to qualify successfully.

DigiLocker facility available

Students can also access their digital marksheets through DigiLocker. Candidates need to log in using their registered mobile number and enter the required examination details to download the digital copy of the marksheet.

Distribution of Original Mark Sheets

The council has announced that hard copies of mark sheets, pass certificates, and registration certificates will be distributed through designated centres across West Bengal. Schools will collect the documents and later distribute them among students.
