'How I Met Your Mother' actor Nick Pasqual found guilty of stabbing and attempted murder

TRIGGER WARNING: This article contains gruesome details of murder and violence, which could be triggering for some readers.Nick Pasqual, the actor who appeared on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ as a guest in Season 7 as one of Ted Mosby’s architecture students, has been found guilty by the Los Angeles jury for reportedly stabbing his former girlfriend more than 20 times after breaking into her residence.

Nick Pasqual convicted of attempted murder

After a trial on May 8, the 36-year-old was also convicted of multiple counts of injuring his partner, first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and forcible sexual assault, according to the Los Angeles Times. Pasqual’s sentence will be determined on June 2, nearly two years after the incident allegedly occurred in May 2024.

The prosecutors claimed that the actor broke into his estranged girlfriend’s house and proceeded to cause harm by stabbing. During that time, the late makeup artist had obtained a restraining order against Pasqual, alleging physical abuse. However, after the attempted murder, the actor reportedly fled the scene and was detained at the border checkpoint between the United States of America and Mexico in Texas.

Nick Pasqual’s ex-girlfriend testified

Testifying against Nick Pasqual during the trial, the ex-girlfriend, Allie Shehorn, reflected on the experienced violence while dating the actor that led to their eventual break-up. “I locked the door, and he just started punching holes in that door and broke that open, and I just ran into the bathroom because I thought there’s another lock on that door,” she said with visible scars on her neck and arm, according to ABC7.Meanwhile, Shehorn’s roommate, Christine White, said to KTLA, “I found her, and I had to go into the bedroom where it happened.
